Teresa Lynn Norton, 66, passed away on Saturday, April 2, with her loving husband Tony of nearly 40 years by her side.
Born on November 23, 1955, to Jesus (Bob) and Rita Camarillo, in Los Angeles, California, Teresa graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in Ventura, CA, and went on to study at
Ventura College, UC Davis, and UC Santa Barbara. After college, Teresa worked for many years at St. John’s Hospital in Oxnard and several Doctors’ offices in Ventura and Camarillo. It was while working at St. John’s Hospital that Teresa met the love of her life, Tony Norton. They married on November 27, 1982. Teresa always loved an adventure! Living on Catalina Island with her family when she was a child and spending summers in Yosemite National Park where her father served as a seasonal ranger added to that adventurous spirit. After they married, Teresa and Tony loved to travel with adventures in Belize, on the Amazon River, climbing Machu Picchu, and expeditions in Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia, as well as many throughout the United States.
Predeceased by her father and mother, Teresa is survived by her husband Tony, brother Robert Camarillo (Mary), sister Michele Kipp (Michael), sister-in-law Rosemary Arias, brothers-in-law
Chris Norton (Lynda) and Robert Norton (Amy), and sister-in-law Laura Norton, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and god-children.
