Rudolph Lorenzo Estrada, lovingly known as “Rudy,” left us on Sunday, May 10, 2026, to reunite with his family in Heaven.
Rudy took both his first and final breaths on the land he loved so dearly. In his 83 years, he built a lifetime of memories while remaining devoted to his hometown of El Rio. After graduating from Oxnard High School, he began a life defined by hard work, talent, and service to others.
According to his sister, Rudy was truly a “jack of all trades.” He worked as a semi-truck driver for Martinez Trucking, restored cars, worked as a mechanic, and shared his love of music through playing the saxophone and trumpet. He was a devoted fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and enjoyed following nearly every sport. Rudy also loved collecting just about anything and everything, but above all, he was a proud yet humble and caring man who made everyone around him feel like family.
Rudy is survived by his youngest sister, Anita Willingham, lovingly known as “Nannie,” along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews
