Roman Robert Ramirez, Sr.

Roman Robert Ramirez Sr., born January 28, 1969 in Oxnard, passed away on January 25, 2025 after catching pneumonia that was exacerbated by underlying health issues. In his final days, he was surrounded by family and friends.

Roman lived in Oxnard his whole life, but did spend his high school years in Norwalk and went to Sante Fe Springs High School. After high school he moved back to his hometown where he met his wife and started a family. Roman was hardworking and such a good man.

Roman loved golf, fishing, darts, playing pool, and cards. He also loved motorcycles and music. Roman was also a diehard Rams fan, but also enjoyed watching the Dodgers and Lakers.

Roman is survived by his wife Jacqueline; daughter Karissa Ramirez-Sanchez(husband Jose); sons: Roman Ramirez Jr and Ryan Ramirez; and granddaughters: Alina and Aubree.

Roman’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
