Our Father was called home to Heaven by our Lord and Savior on October 5, 2021. He was born on September 04, 1946, to Lorenzo and Armida Jimenez. He was a lifelong resident of Oxnard, Ca. He graduated from Oxnard High School. He is a member of the Oxnard Marching Band as a saxophone player. He marched in the Rose Parade in 1964 which was one of his amazing accomplishments. At that time, he met the love of his life, Virginia Valdivia. They were married on December 10, 1965. Our dad provided for his family as a Barber. He opened his own barbershop in 1977 until 2000. He Owned Hair Cutting and Styling by Rudy. He specialized in straight razor beard cuts and flat tops.
When our dad was not working, he was spending time with family, fishing, barbecuing, and listening to music. He loved playing his Saxophone and jamming with his buddies. His love for music was passed down to his kids. Our greatest memories are him showing the bumblebee, and his catchphrases: Just to let you know, don't start now Sh-t now and many others.
He is survived by his two sons Rudy Jr and Charles Eddie Jimenez, two daughters Monica and Valerie Jimenez. Four grandsons Joshua Sr. Jimenez (Loll), David Pena (Carmen), Matthew (Brisa) Jimenez and Jacob Jimenez.
