It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of our beloved Richard "Ricky" Camacho who passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at his home in Rowland Heights. He was born on November 1 1, 1956 along with his Twin Sister Sandra Camacho (Sandy).
He was born in Los Angeles, California in 1956 and moved to Rowland Heights, California in 1961 with his family and was a graduate of John A. Rowland High School Class of 1974. After he got married he moved to Ventura, California to start his new life and a career as a Truck Driver with Ortiz Bros Trucking and other Associates. He later moved back to his hometown Rowland Heights where so many memories were made with Friends and Family.
He loved playing Golf and later participated in the PGA tryout to become a professional Golfer. He had a passion for the NHRA Winternationals and attended every year at the Pomona Dragstrip. He had a passion for anything that had to do with MOPAR muscles cars and he loved to watch the College Foothball games especially the Ohio State Buckeyes. He also loved to watch the horse races and the Kentucky Derby and his FOX News.
Richard (Ricky) is survived by his Children Kaitlyn Quilico and Aaron Camacho, his Mother Julia Gonzales Camacho, preceded in death by his father Richard Camacho in 2003, Sisters Sandra
Camacho, Yvonne Redmon, Brother-in-law Richard Redmon, Karen Smith and Cynthia Zezulka, Brother in law David Zezulka. Ricky had 4 Grandchildren, Twin Boys Levi and Emmett Quilico and Dino and Axel Camacho that he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Felipa
Gonzales, Grandfather, Callentano Gonzales and Grandmother, Hermila Ramirez Camacho. He loved all his nieces and nephews, Brandon Camacho, Spouse Karis Camacho, Ryan Robles, Jonathan Camacho, Spouse Lacey Barkema, Christina Redmon, Jordan Robles, John Redmon, Victoria Smith, Brian Redmon, Spouse Diana Redmon, Julianne Lopez, Spouse Abraham Lopez, Makenna Garcia, Carter Camacho, Naomi Taylor, Addison Camacho, Liela Carver, Danielle Camacho, Graciela Lopez, Arlo Lopez, Helena Redmon, Julian Redmon, Areal Redmon.
He was an old soul and loved to listen to all his old music and attend all the Chicago, Doobie Bros, and Beach Boy concerts. He was a friend to everyone and had a kind heart to all he met and a good listener. If he could help someone he would. He loved his family, friends, Children, and grandchildren and all his aunts/Uncles and Cousins. We all will miss him.
