Richard "Ricka" Gonzales

Richard “Ricka” James Gonzales passed away on October 29, 2020, at the age of 63.
Richard was born in Santa Paula, CA, and lived his entire life in El Rio, CA. Richard graduated from Rio Mesa High School and attended Ventura College. He spent most of his working life as a machinist and handyman. He could fix anything and worked on everything. Richard enjoyed his trips to the Chumash Casino and playing his Lottery Scratchers.

Richard is predeceased by his father, Charles Gonzales. He is survived by his mother, Armida Gonzales of El Rio, brothers Rudy Gonzales (Nathalie) of Thousand Oaks, Danny Gonzales of El Rio, Charles Gonzales, Jr. of Tucson, AZ, Robert Gonzales (Mary) of Mesa, AZ, and sister Darlene Gonzales (Miguel) of El Rio. Richard is also survived by his sons Lupe, Cisco, and R.J.

Richard is also survived by his grandchildren Savannah, Charlie, and Junior. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including his special niece, Yvette, and her two daughters, Mariah and Maliyah.

A Memorial Rosary will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14 th, 2020 at Reardon Funeral Home, 511 North “A” St. in Oxnard.
