Reneé Ilene Miller, 65, of Oxnard, passed away on June 3, 2021. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 8, 1956. When Reneé was a teenager, she and her family moved to the Tampa Bay area. Reneé started her career as a teenager in the restaurant business and quickly transitioned into management; where she excelled for several years.
Reneé moved to California in the mid-1990s where she utilized her management skills as a clinic director. Most who knew Reneé knew her love for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, she never missed a game. She was so thrilled when they won the Superbowl in February. Another of her favorite things to do was going to the casino with her friends and her sister, Susan. Reneé also had a gift of music, she could play any instrument and had the most beautiful voice. Reneé was the first-ever female drum-major in the marching band at Plant High School in Tampa back in 1972-73.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jean Round; her father, Raymond Francis Miller, brother, Raymond James Miller, and nephew, Jacob Miller.
Reneé is survived by her step-mother, Karin Miller; her sister Susan (Mark) Delage; her nieces, Katie Sutton, Kristyn (Tony) Ferfoglia, Jessica (Kyle) Weeks; Kimberly (Patrick) Duncan, her nephews, Gregory (Jennifer) Miller, Mark (Mandy) Delage and Jamie Calhoun; her great-nephews, Luke Miller, Tanner and Cole Weeks and great-niece, Avery Ferfoglia. Reneé is also survived by her beloved pup, Angel who she shared with Beverley, and many dear friends who were like family.
A Memorial Service in Renee’s honor will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 11, 2021, at Reardon Funeral Home located at 511 North “A” Street in Oxnard.
