Randy Perry Obituary

Randolph Lane Perry, 49, passed of natural causes on Friday July 3, 2020 at his home in Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Randy was born on January 22, 1971 in Ventura to Roger Perry and Susan McKnight. In 1985 Randy moved to Wolfeboro, NH where he was a standout Varsity Basketball and Football player. Randy would soon move back to CA to live with his Grandparents and finish high school in Fillmore.

Following high school Randy started his Lifelong career in sales, working for companies such as,Diversy, Ahern, and many more. Randy could sell anything to anyone and loved what he did. Randy loved the outdoors and his fondest memories were camping and fishing with his family. He was an avid sports fan and loved to watch the Raiders, Lakers and Clippers. Above all others his favorite sporting events were those where he was watching and cheering on his two sons playing football, basketball or baseball.

Randy was a character and the life of the party. No family get together was ever truly started until Randy arrived with his charismatic sense of humor. He could turn any situation into one of fun and laughter. He was and will forever be the favorite of his nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren. And of course, nobody will forget his legendary cooking. He will be so deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Carl and Beulah McKnight; uncle, Rudy McKnight; and cousin, Jason McKnight.

Randy is lovingly survived by his two sons, Cody (Susie) Perry of Ventura, Tyler (Tyrah) Perry of Cottage Grove; his parents, Roger and Demarise Perry of Lake Elsinore and mother Susan Hunt of NH, his grandchildren, Katie, Roo, Taytum and Teagyn; his grandparents Robert and Joanne Perry of Ventura; five brothers, three sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
