Randi Wayne Vines

Randi W. Vines was born to James Vines and Ruby Ransom Vines on June 23rd, 1966 in Santa Barbara, CA. James proceeded him in death and Ruby (his mother) lives in Fort Worth, TX.

Randi was born in Santa Barbara at age six months, then family moved to Compton, CA where he attended school. He had a love for baseball and football. The family moved back to Santa Barbara where he attended at Santa Barbara High School and graduated there. He attended Santa Barbara City College, then transferred to New Mexico State University.

He grew up, on his life journey he was blessed with 9 children.

Randi worked for MJ Tank Lines for 20+ years. Michael “Mike” Doggett and Randi built an employee/employer bond like we have never seen before.

He was married to Angela Cooper on September 13th, 2011 (on their 13th anniversary). He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife Angela (Oxnard, CA), his mother Ruby Vines (Fort Worth, TX), his brother James Vines and Yvonne (Midland, TX), his sister Carla Vines (Fort Worth, TX), his children Randi Vines, Bryan Gaines,, Darius Vines, Gary Larkin, Sebastian Larkin, Dajyanah Vines, Dominique Gaines, Rioni Vines, Maria Lebon. He leaves his eight grandchildren: Alana Kaleeyah, Arieanne, Brooklyn, Leila, Prince, King, Zay, and Zy. He leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Randi had a love for youth sports where he coached youth boys throughout Ventura County. He will be remembered as Coach Vines.
