Paul David Nedeleff, 87, went on to Heaven on July 13, 2021. A resident of Camarillo, Paul was born in Oakland on June 11, 1934. He was lovingly raised by his grandparents, Floy and Pete Passarino with his two brothers Donald and Royce in Healdsburg, CA.
In 1953, Paul joined the U.S. Navy where he went on to become a munition expert and served a part in the 1956 Operation Redwing Nuclear Test. He worked for the Edison Mandalay Steam Generation in Oxnard for 30 years. At Hollywood Beach, Oxnard he met his wife of 60 years, Virginia Nedeleff.
He leaves behind his two children, Stephanie (son-in-law Henry Swain) and Todd Nedeleff. Paul had a special relationship with and thought the world of his grandchildren Joshua, Jaydon(Melanie), and Kayla Swain.
For 34 years he expressed his love for God at Nyeland Community Church then later was a part of Chapel City Church. He worked with the Awana Club at both establishments where the children adored him. Paul was a people person and lived to make people laugh. There was no stranger to him. His love for people and laughter did not end with his passing. He had a passion for landscaping and gardening which kept him outside in the sun all the time.
The Celebration of Paul's life will be held at Chapel City Church at a later date. Paul's family would like to give their sincere gratitude to Oxnard Family Circle and the care providers at Oakmont.
