Patricia Ann Melgoza

Patricia "Pat" Melgoza passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, at the age of 73. She was born on July 28, 1952, in Ventura. She spent much of her life in Oxnard where she built lasting relationships within her community. Patricia dedicated many years of service to the Oxnard School District, where she worked faithfully until her retirement.

Patricia is survived by her children: Raul (Rosie) and Angela; beloved grandchildren: Corina, Damien (Esmeralda), Neona, and Raul; former husband, Raul Melgoza; companion, Anthony Simmons; siblings: Barbara, William, and Stephanie; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family, loved ones and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Patricia, and brother, Steve.

Patricia will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her strong work ethic, and the love she had for her children, grandchildren and her extended family. May the Lord welcome her into eternal rest, and may her soul find peace in God’s loving embrace.
