It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our loving father, Nicolas Garcia Sr., who passed away on September 18, 2025. Nicolas was born on December 6, 1962, to Bernardo and Rafaela Garcia.
He was a devoted husband who cherished spending time with his wife, Angelica, who was by his side as he made his ascent into Heaven. She was his partner in every sense of the word, sharing in life’s joys and challenges with unwavering devotion. Through sickness and health, she never left his side. Their love and commitment to one another stood as a testament to the strength of their marriage, lasting until his final breath.
Nicolas enjoyed nothing more than Sundays with his wife. When his kids would ask, “No invite?” he would reply, “We raised all you kids already, now it’s time for just me and your mom.”
Nicolas was a lifelong sports enthusiast and a proud fan of his beloved Raiders. Whether it was at home watching the game on the big screen or any chance he had to cheer live at the stadium, he loved sharing the experience with his son, Nick Jr. He also deeply loved his three daughters, Cassandra, Priscilla, and Alexis, and was proud of the strong, caring mothers they have become.
His greatest joy in life was being a grandpa. His grandchildren brought him endless happiness, and he was deeply cherished and will be profoundly missed. Above all, the most important thing in Nicolas’s life was his family, whom he loved unconditionally and placed at the center of everything he did.
Nicolas is survived by his beloved wife, Angelica Garcia, and their four children and their spouses: Cassandra and Alexander Sr., Priscilla, Alexis and David, and Nicolas Jr. and Miriam. He was a devoted grandfather to Ethan Lucas, Mila Grace, Ezra Luke, Alexander Paul Jr., Emma Ruth, and Charlotte Ann. He is survived by his loving mother, Rafaela Garcia, his siblings and their spouses, along with many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends who will remember him with love and carry forward the impact he had on their lives. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernardo Garcia; his siblings, Isidoro and Veronica; and his grandfather, Cresencio Gallegos, along with many other beloved family members who were patiently waiting to welcome him with open arms.
The Garcia family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the prayers, love, and support during this difficult time.
