In the early hours of January 14, 2021, we lost our beloved mother Mary Jane Dobbins Walker, known by Jane to her family and friends. She was 98 years old. She had a long life, though not long enough for us.
She had many adventures in her life from hitchhiking from Arkansas to California as a young woman to trips she and our dad took together.
She was a smart, strong, energetic, stubborn woman who lived by herself until age 96. And she was beautiful. She raised three children, 2 daughters, and a son, having lost a son at birth. Many neighborhood kids found shelter in her home over the years.
She is survived by her loved ones, daughter Jeanne Walker and husband Terry Hanley, daughter Debbie Walker Corona and husband James Corona, Grandchildren, Scott Clay & wife Anne, Brian Pardini & wife Liat, Eric Pardini & wife Jennifer, Tiffany Corona Villegas & husband Tim,
J.R. Walker, and Kassie Keir. Great-grandchildren, Jeremy Clay, Sarah Clay, Tiana Pardini, Alyssa Pardini, Vincent Villegas, Giada Villegas, Logan Walker, & Chuck Walker. Daughter-in-law Karen Walker and her 2 beloved dogs Ranger and Shadow. She is also survived by special nieces and Nephews, with whom she enjoyed frequent phone visits. She loved you all. Thank you, Wanda, Colleen, Crickett, Margie, Johnny Ray, and Priscilla Dean. A special thank you to Louetta for bringing your mom out to visit our mom.
She was preceded in death by husband Thomas Walker, Matthew Samsky, and son James "Chuck" Walker.
We love you mom and will miss you always
