Maria Diane Trevino

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, aunt and friend Maria "Mary" Diane Trevino, who left us peacefully on December 28, 2025 at the age of 65.

Born on September 12, 1960 in Mexico,  Mary was a resident of Ventura County for most of her life. Mary and her 5 sisters along with her parents Raul and Paula Trevino settled in the city of Oxnard. Mary attended Driffill Elementary, Haydock Jr High and Oxnard High School.

Mary was a source of kindness, wisdom, and laughter for everyone who knew her. She had a gift for making people feel seen and valued, whether through her warm hugs, her thoughtful advice, or her infectious sense of humor. She would go above and beyond for all the people she loved.

Mary enjoyed spending quality time with family all her sisters, nieces and nephews. Mary enjoyed barbecues, a nice cold beer, music, Elvis and camping. She was one for a good movie or a good Netflix series.

Mary is survived by her son Jacob L Pate; sisters: Francis Hoelle, Juanita Sanchez (Joe), Mercy Trevino (Victor Rangel) and Tina Velasquez; brother-in-law Nash Revelez; best friend Jackie (Mark) Flores; along with many nieces, nephews, and close friends who cherished her deeply. She is preceded in death by her Mother Paula Trevino, Father Raul Trevino, sister Rosie Revelez, great niece Jazmin Perez, and brothers-in-law Michael Velasquez and Raymond Hoelle.

Her light will forever shine in our hearts. Special thank you to her nieces who helped her out a lot Velda , Belinda , Elizabeth, Christina and great niece Reiley.
