Maria Jessie Esparza

Maria Jessie Esparza, 85, passed away peacefully in her home early in the morning on November 6, 2025.

Maria was born in Oxnard, California, to Ambrosio and Maria, and spent her life surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was married to her beloved husband, Gonzalo Esparza, who preceded her in death. Together they built a beautiful life and family.

Maria was the proud mother of five children — Laura, Leticia, Lydia, Gonzalo Jr., and Lucia — and the cherished grandmother of seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, with one precious angel in heaven and another blessing on the way.

She loved watching movies, going out to eat, listening to music, and dancing, but above all, Maria treasured spending time with her family. Her home was always open, her heart always giving, and she had a special way of taking care of everyone she loved.

Maria will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the deep love she shared with all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to live on in the memories, laughter, and love of her family.
