Marcella M. Neri

Marcella Marie Neri (Franco) 84, born June 27, 1936 called to heaven December 17, 2020 in Coalinga, California. Preceded in death by her parents Camila (Ysais) and Ysabel Franco, daughter Teresa Ann Neri, sisters Mary Rodriguez and Frances Leon, brothers Louis Franco, Ysabel (Winnie) Franco, Jose (Tony) Franco, Leandro (Lalo) Franco and 7 brothers and sister who were called to heaven at birth. Grandson Christopher Perod and daughter-in-law Kathy Morita.

Marcella is survived by her children Camilla (Cammy) Wrather, Marie Neri, Geraldine (Gerry) Neri, Daniel Neri, Margaret Neri, daughters-in-law Michele Montoya and Amanda Wood, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and sister cousin Andrea Baretto.

Marcella was born and raised in Oxnard, California and graduated from Oxnard High School. She retired from Oxnard Unified School District after 22 years of service. She enjoyed decorating cakes for many years to the joy of many families. 

Marcella lived in Oxnard until she married a military man and moved to different states and countries. She finally returned to California, and then to her home town of Oxnard. She later moved to Coalinga, California, with her children. She loved going to visit all her nieces and nephews. During her visits she enjoyed going to church at Mary Star of the Sea, then to breakfast with family.

Memorial will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021, at Reardon Funeral Home 511 N. A St., Oxnard, CA, at 1:00 PM. Burial will be held at a later date.
