Manuel L Herrera

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Manuel L. Herrera on October 23, 2019, in Oxnard, CA. Born on November 13, 1938, in Otaez, Durango Mexico.

He worked for the City of Oxnard for 25 years. He was passionate about golf, playing pool, going to the beach, fishing, and making trips to the Chumash Casino. But most of all was spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother Rosario, his two sisters Esperanza and Maria de Jesus. His brother Encarnacion, and by his grandson Antonio Medina Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife Rosario Herrera, Sons Manuel Herrera Jr. and Jaime Herrera. Daughters Cynthia Herrera and Charito Valoaga ( Husband Jeffrey) Manuel had 10 Grandkids which he cherished deeply, Stephanie Burson, Emily Herrera, Richard Medina, Josue Carrera, Jacob Vallejo, Samantha Herrera, Alexis Vallejo, Cecilia Vallejo, Jeffrey Valoaga and has one Great Granddaughter Ariana Salas-Medina.
