Kevin Fleener Obituary

Kevin Todd Fleener, 44, of Oxnard, was called home peacefully on December 9, 2025. He was born to Adam Todd Fleener and Carmen Marletta Garcia, who cherished him deeply throughout his life. Known affectionately as “Kevy Todd” and “Big Kev,” he was remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the unmistakable smile that could brighten even the darkest day.

Kevin attended Oxnard High School before transferring to Kofa High School in Yuma, Arizona, where he competed in wrestling. A gifted and dedicated athlete, Kevin also excelled in football and baseball, standing out for both his talent and sportsmanship. His love for athletics began early, playing in numerous youth baseball leagues and Pop Warner Football, and continued into adulthood when he proudly played Semi-Pro and Arena Football.

Above all else, Kevin was most proud of being a father. He was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Serena Mae Fleener, who was the light of his life and his greatest joy.

Beyond sports, Kevin had a passion for drawing, building, and most importantly, maintaining strong relationships with family and friends. He had a big heart, a kind spirit, and a genuine love for those around him. Family meant everything to Kevin, and his loyalty, compassion, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Kevin is survived by his loving father, Adam Todd Fleener; mother, Carmen Marletta Garcia; brothers, Adam Ryan Fleener and Todd Christopher Fleener; and his beloved daughter, Serena Mae Fleener. Kevin’s memory will live on through the many lives he touched, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely.
