Juan Jose Dominguez

Juan Jose Dominguez Soto, 81, of Oxnard, passed away on September 15, 2023, surrounded by his wife and all his children. He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Juan enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Los Angeles Dodgers, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and meddling with the mechanics of his cars. He was a hard-working man and forklift driver for over 25 years. Juan was there to listen and lend a helping hand when he was able to for family, friends, and neighbors. He was also a good father figure to many.

Our family would like to thank the healthcare workers at Clinicas del Camino Real Inc., St. John’s Regional Medical Hospital, and Maywood Acres Health Care for helping him and supporting the family during the last years of his life. We also appreciate Reardon Funeral Home for helping us and being understanding during this difficult time.

Juan is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rosario; daughters and sons-in-law Rosa and Aaron Baltazar, Maria and Mario Torres, and Mirella and Ricardo Zuniga; daughter Mayra Dominguez; son and daughter-in-law Juan Dominguez Jr. Ana Rosales; grandchildren Marissa Ruelas, Isaac Estrada, Alondra Baltazar, Abraham Baltazar, Matthew Torres, Ashley Torres, Jasmine Torres, Alex Munoz and his wife Karla, Paloma Zuniga, Natalie Esquivel, Leilani Esquivel, Bethany Dominguez, Jocelyn Dominguez, Uriel Rosales, Juan Ulices Dominguez, Kataleya Dominguez, and Dahlianna Dominguez; great-grandchildren Samuel, Jayden & Elijah Estrada, Adeline Ruelas, and Eliana & Javier Fuentes Jr; loving sister Soledad Pena; brother Julian Dominguez; nieces; nephews; and many people with whom he shared his beautiful smile and kindness. He was an amazing father, husband, and grandfather.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 23 at Reardon Funeral Home, 511 N. A St., Oxnard. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery, Oxnard.
