Jose Mendoza Barreto

Jose M. Barreto, 86, of Oxnard, California died in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on December 2, 2022.

"Barreto" (as he was known) is survived by his wife, three children and five grandchildren. Barreto was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to everyone.

Barreto loved bowling, playing cards, dominos and billiards. He spent his free time watching baseball and football. He was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects, carpools or whatever else people needed him for. He was loved for his honesty and sense of humor. He will dearly be missed by all who knew him.
