Jonathan V. Castillo

Jonathan V. Castillo, born on August 31, 1943 in Oxnard, passed away on November 9, 2024, in his hometown. Known affectionately as "Dad," Jonathan was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished spending time with his family.

Jonathan dedicated many years to his career at the El Rio School District, where he made a positive impact on the lives of countless students. A passionate lowrider, he enjoyed the thrill of the open road and the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts. His love for Mexican food and oldies music filled his home with warmth and nostalgia, while his loyalty to the Los Angeles Rams showcased his spirited character.

He is survived by his four children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. In addition to his immediate family, Jonathan leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember him fondly. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
