Joey Michael Leon

It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Joey Michael Leon. He was called home on September 10, 2023 at the age of 43. Joey passed away surrounded by the people he loved most in this world: his family.

Joey was a caring and compassionate man with a big soft heart. He enjoyed the simple things in life. Most of all he enjoyed being around his family and friends. Being the jokester made him the life of the party. That smile of his was like no other. Joey was a huge football fanatic: Forever Faithful 49er. He also loved coaching his son’s flag football team.

Joey’s memory will be forever cherished by his children Bryanna, Ericka, Yvette, Noah, and their mother, Patricia Leon; his mother Elizabeth Leon and father Joe Leon; siblings Juliena Leon, Steven Leon, and Alyssa Leon. He will also be missed dearly by his furry companion, Zoe aka “his babygirl.” Joey joins his grandparents Rosendo and Beatriz Buenrostro, and his grandmother Mary Medina in eternal rest.

We will miss you, Joey. You may be gone from our sight but never from our hearts. We love you. Rest easy... you are free.
