Joey Lopez, 57 of Oxnard, passed away on October 29, 2022 in Camarillo, Ca. Joey was born on April 30, 1965 in Laredo, Texas to Antonio and Lola Lopez. He lived in Ventura County for 54 years and has worked many jobs and made many friends in that time.

Joey loved riding his bicycle, dancing and going to Chumash where his game of choice was Poker. Most of all Joey enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Joey is survived by his mother Lola Lopez and siblings Lupe, Juan Lopez and David Lopez. He is preceded in death by his father Antonio Lopez, brothers Jimmy Lopez and Antonio Lopez Jr., sister Nancy Santos, Grandfather Raymundo Sanchez and nephew Edward Anaya.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 5-9p with the recitation of the Rosary to begin at 7p at the Reardon Funeral Home, 511 North A St, Oxnard. The Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 10a at Santa Clara Church, 323 South E St. Oxnard, followed by the interment at Santa Clara Cemetery 2370 North H St. Oxnard.
