Jodi Lynn Kelley

The family of Jodi Lynn (Harrison) Kelley of Oxnard, California, is saddened to announce her passing on November 12th, 2024, at the age of 54 years. Jodi was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on October 1st, 1970, to Michael Harrison and Marilyn Williams. She grew up in Glenpool, Oklahoma, before moving to Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 17, where she finished her high school years. Later, at age 19, she moved to Ventura County, where she met and fell in love with her husband, Michael Kelley. Jodi and Michael had their daughter, Karissa, in 1990 and were married three months later, in March of 1991.

Jodi worked various jobs over the years but was most well-known as “The Tomato Lady” at farmer’s markets throughout Ventura County and surrounding areas. She had a deep love for spending time with her family and friends, and was always excited to attend concerts, where she could share her joy of music with those she loved. Her warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Jodi is survived by her loving husband, Michael Kelley; daughter, Karissa Kelley and partner, Daniel Ortiz; grandchildren, Christian Alvarez, Wayne Ortiz, and Adelia Ortiz; mother, Marilyn Williams; stepfather Charles Williams; brother, Justin Harrison partner Omta Harrison; nieces, Adeline Harrison and Ramina Harrison; beloved puppy Macy Gray; and many other relatives and friends who were like family. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Harrison; grandmothers, Veda Hamilton and Dolores Mortimore; grandfathers Raymond Harrison and Therrel Mortimore; and many other cherished relatives.

In celebration of Jodi’s life, a memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26 at Reardon Funeral Home, 511 North A Street, Oxnard. The family invites friends and loved ones to gather together to remember Jodi and share memories of her vibrant spirit.
