Jo-Ann “JoJo” Alberta Gill, 44 of Oxnard, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 17th 2022, in Ventura, Ca. Jo-Ann was born and raised in Highland Park until the family moved to Ventura County 26 years ago. She was actively involved in the life of the church in the alley and her heart embraced those who needed her love and care. Family above all was so precious to her. JoJo’s sense of humor brought joy and laughter to all of us.

JoJo is survived by her partner in life Paco Sanchez, her children Nina, Daniel, Andrew and Mona, her mother Patricia, siblings Anna Marie, Darlene, Joseph, Trisha, Ruben and their families. She is also survived by her aunt Cena, Uncle Charlie and her uncle Mike, along with numerous other family members and friends.

She left us sooner than expected but we remember the hope she carried like a torch throughout her life. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and her family of friends.

Services will be held on April 9, 2022 at the Reardon Funeral Home, 511 North A St. Oxnard. The viewing will be from 8-12p with a service of remembrance to begin at 10a, followed by a celebration of her life at Rio Lindo Park from 1p-7p.
