Jesus "Pops" Robledo, 58, of Oxnard, CA, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022, after a brief illness. Pops was born November 8, 1963, and was a lifelong resident of Oxnard.
Jesus worked at Point Magu for 25 years as a Financial Analyst. When he wasn't working he had many hobbies and interests such as collecting toys, cards, and jewelry. He loved taking photographs, and sketching, and was a member of the Dukes Car Club.
Pops is survived by his sisters, Maria Hernandez, Elisa and Rachel Robledo along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jesus and Guadalupe Robledo, and his sister Elizabeth Robledo.
Imagine the most positive person you have ever met in your life, now imagine them being impossibly more positive, that was Jess Robledo or 'Pops'. Pops had to live his life with a physical disability, but if you were not in the same room as him you would never know it, as he didn't suffer from it. He lived his life the way he wanted, as a magnanimous source of pure, joyful energy. If you were lucky enough to step foot in his home he would welcome you with a heartfelt greeting, gifts of toys and jewelry, and a limitless supply of well-told comedic stories from his life that would make him laugh as if he were reliving them all over again.
Pops was a giant in the eyes of his nieces and nephews as he was a constant positive fixture of their upbringing. He always stayed in touch with his inner child by joining in on the creative fun that our family had in his home. We are forever grateful for having been blessed with such an unforgettable soul in all of our lives. The memories we've shared with him are very much cherished. His everlasting love is carried on through his surviving siblings, nieces, nephews, and irreplaceable friends. May you rest in peace, Pops.
