Ivan V. Mangan, 59, died Wednesday, July 23, 2025 in Ventura. He was born November 17, 1965 in Ventura and was a lifelong Ventura County resident. His home was in Oxnard.
He attended Adolfo Camarillo High School and was a 4-H Club member, raising his pig named Sadie who he entered in the Ventura County Fair, winning a blue ribbon.
Ivan worked as a security officer for 40 years and enjoyed fishing, gambling, riding his Harley, camping, collecting knives, coins, and firearms, watching WWF and WWE wrestling, and abstract drawing. He loved his dogs and spending quality time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years Pam Mangan; mother Linda Brittingham; daughter Melissa Mangan (Ron); sons: Andrew (Carla) and Aaron Lerma; “bonus daughter” Star Razo; brother Richard Guyette; sister Jeanie Mangan; brother-in-law Charles Skercevic; sister-in-law Pam Evans; grandchildren: Jayden, Aubrie, Hazel, and Oliver; dog Bellona, and multiple cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Glen and Dorothy Stogdill; grandmother Lena Mangan; father Jerry Brittingham; mother-in-law Shirley Evans; brothers-in-law: David and Tim Evans; and pups (dogs): Harley and Junior.
