WE ARE CONFIDENT, I SAY, AND WILLING RATHER TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY, AND TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD. (2 Corinthians 5:8).
Ines Rangel, 87 of Oxnard, CA, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard. She was born November 1, 1936 in Coeneo, Michoacan, Mexico to Domato Rangel and Guadalupe Ortega.
Ines came to Oxnard in 1986 after retiring from being a seamstress instructor in her home. She taught many young ladies how to make all kinds of clothing, like wedding dresses, skirts, blouses, etc. She had a lot of students and she lost count of how many learned in her class.
Ines attended her home church Centro Evangelio Emmanuel Llamada Final Oxnard for many years. She loved the Lord, her maker.
Ines is survived by her sister Esther Tellez; her faithful niece Lizzeth Tellez; distant niece Gloria Michelle Orosco; and a host of church family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Donato and Guadalupe; and brothers, Artemio and Octavio.
Ines's family would like to personally thank all doctors who took care of her for many years, especially Dr. Yohan Perera, Dr. Catherine Sever, Dr. Andrew Weymer and Dr. Fan Ping Wang, Dr. Hashim Mapara, St. John's Reg. Med. CTR, Oxnard. Special thanks to all the RN’s in the CCU, especially to Elaine. And also to Dr. Sarita Satpathy that held our hands through this time of sorrow with the help from Jordan the RN on the last day of Ines’ life.
Thank you to our family, church family, friends and everyone who prayed for Ines.
