Henry C. Beltran, 87 of Ventura passed away peacefully in March 14, 2026 at home surrounded by his family.
Henry was born on July 24, 1938 in Oxnard. He grew up in the Colonia neighborhood where he lived with his mom Mary and 3 brothers, Frank, Richard and Fred.
Henry started working at a young age with his brother Frank picking lemons to help support the family. He attended school in Oxnard and graduated from Oxnard High School in 1957. While he was there he met the love of his life, Ramona Luna. They were married August 16, 1958 and soon started their family.
After high school he joined the US Army, which he proudly served. Upon his return he started working in construction, a trade he continued for the next 40 years. In 1999 Henry attended UCLA to earn his teaching credentials. He then taught woodshop at Fillmore High School for 14 years, a job he thoroughly enjoyed.
Henry was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved visiting with his family, traveling to see them in different parts of the country. He enjoyed their conversations and hearing about their latest adventures and accomplishments. He loved watching sports, especially the Dodgers and USC football games.
Henry is survived by his loving wife Ramona Beltran and their 4 children, Linda (Ken -deceased) Narloch, Sally (Harry) Hancock, Henry (Jean) Beltran, Christopher (Rebecca) Beltran, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren along with many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday April 6 at Reardon Funeral Home, 511 North A St, Oxnard. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday April 7 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 10800 Henderson Rd, Ventura. Graveside service immediately following at Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 North H St, Oxnard.
