Frank Rodriguez Obituary

His given name was Frank Rodriguez . The Latin meaning of Frank is "Free One".

He was born on October 9, 1958 to Catherine and Felix Rodriguez. Frank joined the family as the 6th member of 9 of the Rodriguez family. He left this world on November 20, 2024.

Frank Grew up in Fillmore CA, and worked at several local places like Patterson's Hardware and Sunkist. He left school at the age of 16 to pursue his dream of being a business owner of Rodriguez Landscaping.

He joined the Army August 31, 1980. During his time in the Army he received the rank of Sgt as a combat engineer serving as an Airborne Ranger in the 101st infantry. He specialized in rifles and grenades while maintaining tanks. He was honorably discharged in February 1987.

Soon after he left the Army he discovered his true talent and passion in the fire sprinkler industry. He started out at R&R as a journeyman and ended his career as one of the highest grossing sales specialists in the western hemisphere with Johnson Controls. Frank received several awards and recognition as the "million dollar sales specialist"
Frank was a lifelong Oakland/LA/Las Vegas Raiders fan and, his favorite player was #75 Howie Long. Frank enjoyed riding his motorcycle, smoking cigars, drinking beer and believe it or not watching musical theater.

His true love was being with his family and favorite titles were, Big Bro, Dad and most of all Papa. He loved his granddaughters. He wanted to show them the meaning of love.

Frank is survived by his daughter Britney Jo Rodriguez; son Michael Rodriguez, Michael's wife Nacole Rodriguez, and their two daughters Darla and Gabriella Rodriguez. He also leaves behind his brothers: Florencio, Felix Jr, and Angel; sisters: Susan Lewis, Barbara Rodriguez, Martha Baker, and Rose Larson; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Moses, and beloved wife Patricia.

He will be deeply missed and always in our hearts.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, December 14 at Reardon Funeral Home, 511 North A Street, Oxnard. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
