We mourn the passing of our brother, father, uncle, and cousin, Frank Marrufo Ordaz on Sunday, October 27, 2024. He was born August 20, 1948.
Frank served his country proudly in the Air Force and was honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant. He went on to graduate from California Polytechnic University, Pomona with a BS degree in engineering technology-electronics and he holds four patents for surgical instruments.
Frank is survived by his sons: James Bolden and Tyrone M. Marsaw; brothers: Michael M. Ordaz, Johnny Ray Ordaz, and Richard “Ritchie” Ordaz; nieces: Cecilia Ordaz Lopez, Irene Ordaz, Veronica Ordaz, and Maria Ordaz; nephews: Michael A. Ordaz, Pablo Ordaz, and Francisco Ordaz; longtime companion Maritta Nickerson; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and acquaintances He is preceded in death by his wife, Shelly Bolden Ordaz; Mother Lorenza Marrufo Ordaz; Father Frank M. Ordaz; and brother David Louis Ordaz.
He will be missed however he will not be soon forgotten.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, November 11 at Reardon Funeral Home, 511 North A St., Oxnard. Rosary will begin at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 12 at Santa Clara Chapel, 1333 East Ventura Blvd., Oxnard. Interment will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery, Oxnard.
