Ernestina Alaniz "Tina" Gutierrez, 81, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, in Oxnard. Born on September 6, 1944, in Texas, Tina lived a life marked by strength, dedication, and an unwavering love for her family and community.

Tina was a devoted and hardworking member of the Oxnard community, dedicating 25 years of service to the local cable company. Her commitment and work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. Beyond her professional life, Tina was known for her vibrant personality and generous spirit. She had a deep love for life and an open heart that welcomed everyone—no matter their circumstances. Her home was always a place of warmth and refuge. A true fashionista at heart, Tina was rarely seen without her signature Levi jacket. Her style reflected her bold spirit and zest for life. She shared many joyful moments riding Harleys with her beloved husband John Gutierrez, cherishing the freedom of the open road and the companionship they found in each other.

Tina is survived by her two children, Yvette and John "Gubby" Gutierrez; nieces and nephews; grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and brother and sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband John Gutierrez and her son-in-law Eugene "Gene" Gonzales. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched with kindness, strength, and generosity. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
