Dora Robles Griffin

Beloved Dora Robles Griffin faithful servant went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2020, in her home peacefully asleep surrounded by her Daughter Rita Hernandez, Granddaughter Veronica Cerda, and Son Charles Martinez. Dora was born on March 31, 1930, in Los Angeles, California to Louis Robles and Concepcion Robles. Dora married Jerry Griffin on June 22, 1968, in Los Angeles, California, and then became a widow on April 11, 1992. Dora resided in Oxnard, California for 39 years. Dora was a social butterfly who enjoyed roaming Oxnard. Dora left an impression on everyone she met. Dora enjoyed taking people out to eat and entertaining them with her many interesting stories. Dora loved to attend local festivals in which she would “people watch” and would have many conversations. Dora loved to give advice and was very bold with her words. Dora was a thoughtful and giving person like her Father Louis. Dora took daily walks even when it would rain, but on the rainy days, God would send an angel to give her a ride home. Dora is survived by Sister Abagail Aguirre, Brother David Robles, 7 children, 10 grandchildren 17 great-grandkids, 10 great great-grandkids, 1 granddaughter-in-law, 2 grandson-in-laws and 2 sons-in-law. She was proceeded in death by Sons: Claudio Castro and Jerry Griffin Brothers: Johnny Robles, Ronald Robles, Frank Robles, Tom Robles, Louie Robles Sisters: Helen Soto, Margarita Gomez, Carmen Santana, and Lydia Robles.
