Diane Stetser Staggs

Beloved Diane went to be with God on December 09, 2022, with her loving and devote husband and loved ones by her side. She passed away peacefully after a brief length of illness. Diane was brought into this world on January 12, 1952, in Newport, Rhode Island, the daughter of Charles and Claire Lewis. She moved to Ventura County 46 years ago and met the love of her life Larry Staggs whom she was married to for an amazing 44 years. Diane was an amazing homemaker. She had many hobbies, but cards were her favorite. She loved to play canasta and hearts. She had a true passion in life for cooking and baking and searching for new recipes any chance she could, "always follow the recipe the first time then you can experiment!" as she would say. Diane was an amazing artist using lots of watercolors, acrylic and oil paints to paint the most beautiful works of art. Diane loved and always had a flare for the theatre, in the early 1980's while attending Oxnard college she played the lead in the college production of "The Rainmaker". Diane loved to make everyone laugh and loved to create "memes" and post them on Facebook to amuse all her Facebook friends. Diane loved to sew, she loved to make potholders, napkins, table runners, quilts, and many amazing creations to give to her loved ones and friends. Diane is proceeded in death by her parents Charles and Claire Lewis, Nephew Christopher Lewis, and Cousin Rob Mason. Diane is survived by the love of her life Larry Staggs, her brothers T.K.Lewis (Beth) and Charles (Linda) Lewis. Her nephews Greg Burnsed, Bryan (Korin) Burnsed, Kyle (Brittany) Lewis, 4 Great- Nieces  Chevenee, Aliya, Penelope, and Adelyn. 4 great- nephews Brayden, Nathan, Gavin, and Patton. Her aunt Marilyn Manson, Cousins Faith Quinn, Patti Quinn, Robin Quinn, Tammy Edwards, and Many other Beloved friends and family. 
A viewing will be held December 20, 2022, at 1pm till 4 pm at Reardon Funeral Home 511 N. A street, Oxnard, CA 93030. A memorial service will be held on January 5, 2023, at Reardon Funeral Home at 2pm. Diane is entrusted to the care of Reardon Funeral Home.
