Diana Lomeli was born February 26th 1962 in Oxnard, California to Eva Tapia and John Lomeli. She is the oldest of 4 siblings Joseph Lomeli, Andrew Lomeli and Arlene Shaffer. She attended Rose Avenue elementary school, John C. Fremont Jr High and Channel Islands High School. She graduated class of 1980. After high school she continued her schooling at Ventura College.

Diana is a very eclectic person. Growing up she took interest to piano, sewing, reading novels, music and swimming. As she got older, she loved to cruise with Husband Derek (Dino) and her friends in Switch Car Club. She also enjoyed going on trips and having family functions. Diana also loved to cook! She loved to cook her signature tacos , enchiladas and her infamous breakfast on Saturdays. She also mastered how to cook Soul Food by learning recipes from her dear friend Linda Carmel. Diana and Dino spent the last 20 years traveling , camping , tailgating at USC Football games and cruising. She likes the simple things in life. It wasn’t about the activity it was about the company she kept!

During Diana’s professional career she was a hard worker and valuable employee. She had a long career in the medical field working in Administration for Dr. Salmon and Dr.Duff. She then moved on to work for Miramar Eye Specialist Medical Group for several years. Diana also worked in the food industry. She spent many years working on the weekends catering events in Ventura County. Towards the end of her working career, her health began to prevent her from working full time. She then found employment as a caretaker. Diana was a a selfless person , even in her decline in health she still found a job where she can take care of others!

When Diana started a family Dino she was all about her kids and their friends. She was heavily involved in all of their sports. Diana was a team mom , team administrator, team driver , team tutor and team chef. Diana biologically birthed one Son ( Dee )but she was a mother to an entire community. She enjoyed spending her weekends with Dino watching Dee and Josh play sports. She was their number 1 fan and supporter.

She is survived by her husband Derek (Dino) Pinkard. Her boys Dee Pinkard, Joshua Pinkard and Conrad Hernandez . Her mother Eva Shaffer . Her siblings Joseph Lomeli , Andrew Lomeli and Arlene Shaffer. Her grand-babies Cyrus Pinkard and Soraya Pinkard
