Dennis John Perrin was joyfully welcomed into this world on July 6 th, 1939, to Illah and Jack Perrin.
Following a lengthy illness, he was peacefully welcomed into heaven shortly after his 82 nd birthday. He passed, as he lived, surrounded by his family, who love and adore him.
His life, well-lived, was built on faith, family, and a great balance of work and play. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Later, he enjoyed a successful 40-year career in sales and sales management, with more than three decades in the family golf bag manufacturing business, Belding Sports. His latest venture, Ruckus Rod & Kustom, brought together his entrepreneurial spirit, sales expertise, and passion for hot rods.
Dennis had a dry wit, wry smile, a huge heart, an ornery streak, and an optimism that never wavered. Shy by nature, Dennis lived his life on his own terms, but with everyone’s best interest first and foremost. He adored his wife of 41 years, Jackie, as well as his 4 children, Dennis II (deceased; Jacqueline), Capriece (Rick), Chase (Christina), and Braeden (Megan). His seven grandchildren, great-granddaughter, and his brothers – Steve, Joel, and Scott (deceased) – each held a special place in his heart.
He reminded us often that “It’s never too late to have a happy childhood!” He never lost his enthusiasm for life, and never gave up on anything or anyone. We will miss his quiet strength, big heart, dry humor, and love of the open road!
A Celebration of Dennis’s life will take place at Padre Serra Catholic Church in Camarillo, CA on July 23 rd at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider supporting a veteran’s organization of your choice.
