David Tellez

 God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. (Rev. 21:4).

David Tellez, 82 of Oxnard, CA, peacefully entered the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 12, 2022, surrounded by his family and friends. Although he will dearly be missed, we are confident that as child of the Most High, one day we will all be together again in our Father’s glorious kingdom.

David was born on 08/18/1940 in Coeneo, Michoacan, MX to Jose Tellez and Margarita Garcilazo. David met and married the love of his life, Esther Rangel de Tellez on 08/12/1962 and together they were blessed with one daughter, Lizzeth Tellez.

David was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Margarita and by his brothers, Gerardo, Dagoberto, Gilderdo, Jose Luis, Tuburcio and sister Salud.

David is survived by this loving wife of over 60 years Esther; his faithful daughter Lizzeth; his siblings, Francisco (Socorro), Consuelo, Celia, Eugenia (Fausto), Salvador (Carmen), Estela and baby sister Magdalena (Juan), and a host a nieces, nephews, and friends.

The Tellez family would like to personally thank our dear loved Dr. Richard Rothschild who did not give up on David. Dr. Rothschild is one of the Top lnterventional Cardiologist of 2021. First God and then Dr. Rothschild because David had a longer life lived. Thanks to Dr. Gregory Ruelas, Dr. Rajendra Niraula, Dr. Goba, Dr. Mortazavi and all the wonderful doctors and staff at St John’s Reg. Med. CTR, Oxnard. Special thanks to all the RN’s in the CCU and ICU, especially to Juan Garibay, Shelley S. and Gabriel Guillen that held our hands through the time of sorrow until the last day of David’s life. Also Dr. Saibal Karr from Los Robles Hospital, Thousand Oaks, CA and Dr. Rajendra Makkar from Cedar Sinai Med. CTR in Los Angeles. We also want to thank all the staff from Fresenius Kidney Care on Saviers Rd, Agape Medical Transport and A to B Transport.

Thank you to all family, friends and everyone who prayed for David. Services will be held at Reardon Funeral Home located at 511 N. A St. Oxnard, on Saturday 11/19/2022. The viewing is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the service at 3 pm.

Homegoing Service is on 11/21/2022 at 9a.m. - 10a.am. A short viewing will be held from 10a.m.-10:30a.m. at Reardon Funeral Home and the interment will be held at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral home, 5400 Valentine Rd, Ventura, CA.

The Reception will start at 2pm at los Remedios Steak House, 1333 W Gonzalez Rd, Oxnard.
