Cristian Joel Aranda Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the departure of our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, Cristian Joel Aranda Jr. on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the age of 21.  

Cristian was born to Cristian Aranda Sr. and Elva Salas on July 10, 2002, in Oxnard California and was a lifelong resident of Ventura County.

He graduated from Hueneme High School in 2021 and was employed by the Ojai Valley Inn.  

Cristian is survived by his parents, Cristian Joel Aranda Sr. and Elva Mariella Salas, his two older sisters, Briana Aranda and Hailey Aranda, his two younger brothers, Nathaniel Hernandez and Donovan Hernandez, His Nephew, Aiden Garcia, His grandparents, Elvira Franco, Rosa Flores and Antonio Aranda.  His memory will also be cherished by his girlfriend, Lindy Duran, his Godparents, Oscar Salas and Priscilla Salas, he also leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends mourning his loss.  

He is preceded in death by his great grandmothers Sofia Ramos de Flores and Antonia Salas, and grandfather Ubaldo Salas.

Often described as very helpful, polite and caring individual, Cristian was always going above and beyond to help others.  Cristian found joy in caring for his two dogs, Blue and Chanel, there was only one other thing in life that brought as much joy and a spark to his eyes, a Raider game.  An avid Raiders fan that wouldn't miss a game, you would always find Cristian sporting his Raiders gear and adding to his immense collection of Raiders paraphernalia. When not watching his favorite team, you would find him working on his baby, his Infinity Q50.

He will be greatly missed by all and will be greeted in heaven by his adored family members that left before him.  Cristian, fly with the Angels, this not a goodbye, but a brief "see you later", as we shall meet again.

The family is encouraging those who plan to attend services to wear Raiders gear, they would like to see a sea of Silver and Black.  A celebration of life will be held immediately following the funeral mass.
