Cathy Lynne Vasquez, 70, died Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in Oxnard, following a brief illness. She was a lifelong Oxnard resident and had worked most recently at Fresh & Easy, retiring in 2015.

Cathy enjoyed spending time with her family, playing with her great grandkids, and watching her soap opera, game shows, and baseball games, especially the Yankees, being a Yankee fan.

She is survived by her brother, Jeff Morgan of Oxnard; daughter and son-in-law, Roxanne and Peter Martinez of Oxnard; grandsons: Joseph Fernando Martinez of Oxnard, and Richard Garcia Vasquez and his wife Kimberly of Oxnard; great grandsons: Ryan Richard Vasquez and Thomas Joseph Martinez of Oxnard; and great granddaughters: Olivia Grace Martinez and Riley Rae Vasquez of Oxnard. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Vasquez.

Friends may pay their respects from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 24 at Reardon Funeral Home, 511 N. 'A' St., Oxnard. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 25 at Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 N. 'H' St., Oxnard.
