Candelaria Perez Martinez

Candelaria Perez Martinez, of Oxnard, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, following a prolonged illness. Candelaria was 88 years old.

Born in Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico on September 3, 1934, Candelaria has been a resident of Ventura County for the last 64 years.

Candelaria loved being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved to cook for all the family and spending any moment she could with them. She was also a woman of faith. A dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church here in Oxnard.

Candelaria is survived by her children; Joe Martinez (Elena), Paul Martinez (Ines), John Martinez (Mary Lou), Jeffery Martinez, Jerry Martinez (Tia Moreno), James Martinez (Arlene Mora), Josephine (Albert) Carpenter, LeeAndrea Martinez (Guillermo Lopez), 23 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also, her doggie - Baby D which she cared for very much

She is also survived by her siblings; Belen Hinojosa, Ramona Pantoja, Mary Lopez, Gloria Torres, Jose Perez, and Manuel Perez.
