Beryle Jean Kelly, 74, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in Ventura, California.
Born on August 20, 1951, in Susanville, California, Beryle lived a life defined by love, compassion, and an unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Throughout her life, she worked many jobs, most of them centered around helping and connecting with people. Wherever she went, she was known for her kindness, her welcoming spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel valued. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Beryle loved her. Beryle had the biggest heart and rarely ever said no. And when she did, she usually didn't mean it. She would do anything for anyone, never expecting anything in return. Whether it was dropping everything to help a friend, answering a late-night phone call, or simply being there when someone needed her, she never hesitated. Her grandchildren brought her endless joy, and she loved every moment she spent with them. She would happily drive a grandchild around for hours, listening to the most absurd music, just so he could "catch 'em all" playing Pokémon. Those everyday moments became treasured memories because she made even the simplest acts feel like expressions of love. No matter the time of day or night, if someone needed or wanted her, Beryle was there—without question. Her generosity, selflessness, and unconditional love touched countless lives, and the legacy of her caring heart will continue to live on in everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
Beryle will be remembered most for her enormous heart, infectious sense of humor, generosity, and incredible strength. She was always there for those she loved, offering a listening ear, a helping hand, or a warm hug. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who meant the world to her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Victor Kelly; her children, Colleen, Jason, and Amanda (Mike); her beloved grandchildren, Anthony (Eli), Joseph (Bella), Lamont "Andrew", Erica, Jonas, Noah, Jacob, and Emily; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Zuri Rose and Bently Kash. Beryle was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison Bailey "Bud" and Muriel "Louise" Rogers; her beloved grandson, Justice Paul Kelly; her Aunt Vi and Uncle Bob; her cousins, Jackie (Denny) and Geba (Joe); and many other loved ones who welcomed her home.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the countless memories she gave us. Her love, laughter, and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
"I'm fine"- Beryle J. Kelly
