Bert Dickey Obituary
Bert Dickey, 70 of Oxnard, passed away on Saturday August 22, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. Bert was born on August 25, 1944 in Lindsay, California and moved to live in Ventura County when we has 16 years old. He was a maintenance planner for the Weyerhaeuser Paper Mill before retiring in 2006.
Bert loved to spend time at his cabin, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and all things outdoors. He also loved riding his Harley. He was an avid church goer at the Ventura First Assembly of God Church but one of his favorite pastimes was spending time with his grandchildren.
Bert is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 50 years Marlene Dickey; his son Bryan Dickey (Christy) of Oxnard and his son David Dickey (Alysia) of Camarillo and his grandchildren: Bryan Jr and Brent of Oxnard, Dylan and Madison of Camarillo.
Bert has been entrusted to the care of the family owned and operated Reardon Funeral Home 511 North A St. Oxnard, www.reardonfh.com
Services will be held on Friday, August 28 at 1 pm at the Ventura First Assembly of God, 346 N. Kimball Rd. Ventura.
