Angela “Angie” Diane Ariaz, a long term resident of Oxnard, CA, has passed away suddenly in her sleep from natural causes on January 12, 2023. She was born in Oxnard, CA on March 30, 1968. Angie also resided in Atascadero, CA and many years in Paso Robles, CA.
Angie was everyone’s best friend. She was a loving and generous soul that had the biggest heart for all of her loved ones. Angie could be everything from the life of the party to a shoulder to cry on. You could always count on her to answer the phone and be there when you needed her. Angie had many passions, she loved designer clothes, intensely enjoyed music, had an amazing palate for food, impassioned for wine and endlessly dedicated time to be with her family and friends. She accomplished many great things and had a successful career. She studied psychology at Ventura College, became a Psych Tech at Camarillo State Hospital, and later she moved up North to ultimately became a Unit Manager at Atascadero State Hospital where she worked for many years until she retired for medical reasons. Intermittently, Angie stayed busy as a cosmetic consultant, worked in different wine tasting rooms, volunteered at social service organizations, and was an aspiring stylist. A large piece of our heart is missing and we will never forget her memory.
Angie is preceded in death by her father Angel Ariaz, her sister Susie Ariaz, her brother Christopher Ariaz and her loving dogs Bianca and Caleb. She is survived by her mother Esperanza Ariaz, her brother Angel David Ariaz and his wife Elita and their children Angelina and Daniel. Also, her brother Joseph Ariaz and her sister Monique Gardiner and her wife Kaitlin. Including her niece Jessica and her daughter Isabella and her niece Arianna and her dogs Chanel and Dior. As well as her many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
On Saturday, January 21, a rosary will be held at 10am and funeral ceremony at 11am, both at Reardon Funeral Home in Oxnard, followed by a reception.
