Ana Nicanor Obituary

Ana was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and a faithful daughter of the Highest King. She was born on May 25, 1927 and on April 28, 2026 she went home to be with the Lord.

Ninety-eight years is a beautiful, full life, and hers was filled with faith, sacrifice, and deep unconditional love. She lived not just for herself, but for her family—for her 3 children Mario, Cesar & Maria. Her 12 grandchildren, Laura, Cesar, Mario Enrique, Jaime, Evalynn, Jenni, Miguel, Dannyssa, Alexander, Hailey, Matthew & Paul. Her 9 great grandchildren, Alejandra, Armando, Mario, Reyla, Christopher, Sarai, Gael, Dania & Addylene and her 1 great great grandchild, Elia, who meant everything to her.

In 1981, she made the courageous decision to come to the United States, carrying with her hope, strength, and a dream for a better future for her children. The Garcia family opened their home to her and her children, welcoming them with love and support during such an important and uncertain time. It was also through Sister Garcia and Sister Castillo that Ana came to know the Word of God more deeply—beginning a lifelong journey of faith that shaped who she was and led her to become a devoted and faithful member of the church. Because of her sacrifice, her children were given opportunities for education and a life she had always hoped and prayed for them to have.

Through hard work and determination, she found work in the fields, never afraid of sacrifice if it meant providing for her family. Step by step, she built a home for herself and her children, creating a place filled with love, strength, and resilience. When her oldest son, Mario, was finally able to join them, it marked the beginning of the growing family she had long dreamed of. And because of her, that family continues to grow today—rooted in her love, strengthened by her sacrifices, and forever guided by the example she set.

Her life reminds us that love is not just something we say—it is something we live, something we give, and something that continues long after we are gone.

She loved being part of her church and the family she gained through the congregation. Whether she was helping in the garden or offering her time wherever it was needed, she found joy in serving others. She gave with a full heart, and loved you as if you were her own.

Above all, she was a woman of faith. She walked with God throughout her life, trusting Him in every season. And today, while we grieve her absence, we find peace in knowing she is now in the presence of the Lord she loved so deeply.

Her legacy lives on in her children, her grandchildren, and in every life she touched. And though we will miss her dearly, we carry her love, her strength, and her faith with us always.
