It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Adela “Della” Barajas Ybarra on the morning of June 23, 2020. Born to the union of Manuel and Maria Barajas on August 9, 1939, she was a lifelong county resident. She was married to Cecilio Ybarra Jr for 62 years and together they raised their two Sons, Eddie Ybarra Sr., and Richard Ybarra. She was preceded in death by her loving son Richard, her parents, brothers, Hank, Manuel Jr., Manuel III and Ruben Barajas. She is survived by her husband, Cecilio (Chilo) and her Son, Eddie Sr. (Laura) of Santa Maria and grandchildren, Eddie Ybarra Jr. (Emmanuelle) of Vacaville, CA; Athena Starnes (Thom) of Panama City, Florida and Christina Ybarra of Oxnard, great-grandchildren, Victoria, Cecilio, Elyse and Alayna Ybarra, Carina and Nora Starnes; sisters, Beatrice Chavira, Irma and Dolores Barajas, brother, Armando Castro and numerous nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren whom will all miss her dearly.
Della loved to shop, travel and camp with her family and simply enjoyed the company of her family, extended family and friends day to day. She followed her grandchildren on Facebook and looked forward to their postings of her great-grandchildren who live out of state and in Northern California. Facetiming them was also a highlight for her. She loved everyone unconditionally and all who knew her adored her. She was funny and had a beautiful smile and had so much courage to face just about anything. She had a heart of gold and made friends everywhere she went. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished.
