Adam Irwin Joseph Shoemaker

Adam Irwin Joseph Shoemaker, 21, of Oxnard, passed away on September 23, 2021, following a lengthy illness. Adam was born in Indiana on July 30, 2000, to Carolyn Edmiston and Irwin Joseph Shoemaker. He has been a resident of Ventura County for the last 15 years after moving from Indiana. 

Adam was a computer operator on the assembly line for Tyson foods and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church at 1500 North C Street in Oxnard. He loved football, basketball, skateboarding, and cars.  

Adam is survived by his Grandmother Peggy Andersen of Litton Indiana, his parents; Bruce and Carolyn Edmiston of Oxnard, Uncles and Aunts Logan and Lori Winkler of Litton, Indiana, Amy and Rick Barnard of Thousand Oaks, CA, sisters: Elizabeth Fulk of Monrovia, Indiana, Ashley Dearinger of Thousand Oaks, CA, Lisa Shoemaker of Long Beach, CA, brother Doug Shoemakerniece of Fairland, Indiana, niece Haley Maine of San Jose, CA, and Aunt Mary Briggs of Lebanon, Indiana.

He is preceded in death by Irwin Shoemaker, Violet Shoemaker, and brothers Donald and Kevin Dearinger.
