William Thain Hay. age 90, died Sunday 17 November 2019 in Ventura, California. Born to William Hay and Lucy Delona Carver Hay in 1929, in Ventura, California. He was the first son in a family of six daughters and two sons. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of his life. He received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from California State University Northridge.
After the death of his wife Margaret, Bill married Janet Hulstrom Lawrence in 1981. Because Jan had four daughters, this caused Bill's daughter count to jump up to nine. Bill had many hobbies and interests including singing and family history, but nothing was more important than his family.
He is survived by nine daughters, thirty grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives, and one grandson.
