Rae T. Esperanza

We are sad to announce the passing of Rae Esperanza who went home to Our Lord on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the age of 95. Born on July 6, 1923, in Manhattan, KS., the family moved to California and settling in Santa Paula where Rae Attended primary school and graduated from Oxnard High School class of 1945.

Rae in predeceased by parents Agapito and Julia Esperanza, siblings Lola Reyes, Domingo Esperanza, Frank Esperanza, Delphine Burnett and Mercy Martinez.

Rae is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, but our family would like to give a special thanks to her niece Michelle Deits for all the loving care and support she provided Rae for the last 8 years.

A recitation of the rosary will take place at 9:30 am on Monday, December 3, 2018, with the funeral mass to take place at 10 am at the Santa Clara Church, 323 South E St. Oxnard. Rae and her sister Delphine Burnett, who passed away on September 15, 2014, will be inurned together at the Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 North H St. Oxnard, directly following the mass.
