Nellie Z. Sotelo

Nellie Z. Sotelo, 84 of Oxnard, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday February 2, 2019 after a lengthy illness. Nellie was born on January 15, 1935 in Oxnard, CA. and has lived here her entire life. She worked at Oxnard Frozen foods as a packer until retirement after 34 years. Nellie loved spending time with her loved ones, cooking and loving and caring for her animals.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Peter D. Sotelo and her sisters Petra Zepeda and Clara Montes.

Nellie is survived by her six children; Dora (Paul) Martin, Sandra (Richard) Wollman, Henrietta (Richard) Saville, Peter (Ingred) Sotelo, Arnold (Yolanda) Sotelo, Diana (William) Sellinger, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sister Remedios Zepeda, brother Theodoro Zepeda and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
