Maria Teresa Mejia

Maria Teresa Mejia, 56 of Oxnard, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in Oxnard, CA. Maria was born on January 3, 1961, in Tepatitlán, Jalisco, Mexico to Jose Navarro Gonzales and Amparo Lopez and has been a resident of Ventura County for 40 years.

Maria had many things she enjoyed in life including walking, cooking, traveling, cleaning but most of all she loved to spend time with her family, especially the grandchildren. For the last 15 years, Maria has been the owner of DW’s Café and is a parishioner of Mary Star of the Sea Church.

Maria is survived by her husband of 38 years, Mario Enriquez Mejia, her son Braulio Mejia and his wife Rosie and their two children Aren and Cyerra, her son Chris Mejia his wife Jessie and their four children Moriah, Maliah, Maddox and melody, her son JoJo Ramirez his husband Justin and dog Jax, her son Brian Mejia and his daughter Hazail, Daughter Alexia Mejia with fiancé Diego Garcia and their three children Lila, Kyrie and Alexander, brothers Armando, Richard, Raul and Polo Navarro, brother Fransico Lopez, sister Silvia Navarro, her mother Amparo Lopez and dog CC. She is preceded in death by her father Jose Navarro Gonzales, brothers Eudaldo (aka Guerro) and Gerardo Navarro and uncles Alvaro and Santos Lopez.
